An 18-year-old man was arrested in Windsor Terrace Monday morning after leading cops on a brief car chase through the neighborhood.
Police first tried to pull over Zachary Horan around 8 a.m. after noticing that he wasn't wearing his seat belt. Horan pulled over near the southeast corner of McDonald Avenue and Terrace Place, but sped off as the officer was getting out of his patrol car.

According to police, Horan made a series of turns without signalling, leaving in his wake a trail of terrified pedestrians forced to leap out of his way. His joyride reached its end on 44th Street, where he sideswiped a parked vehicle after attempting to dodge a garbage truck.
Horan was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, at which point officers also found several pipes in his pockets containing marijuana residue.
