Police on the Hunt For Sprint Store Robbers

Two suspects wanted in connection with July 26 stickup.

The New York Police Department asked for the public's assistance in catching two suspects wanted for robbing a Sprint Store on 5th Avenue in Sunset Park on Thursday.

Police are looking for a black male in his early 20s, 5-foot-11, 160-170 pounds, with a beard, wearing a blue and white t-shirt and blue jeans. 

Police described the second suspect as a black male in his early 20s, 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, wearing a burgundy windbreaker jacket and blue jeans.

The robbery occurred on July 26 at 8 p.m. when the two suspects allegedly entered the store at 5613 5th Ave., brandished firearms and stole money and phones.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
