Read, Draw and Learn at Kensington's Avenue C Plaza

The Uni Project is bringing its artists, books and puzzles back to the neighborhood on Oct. 30.

KENSEINGTON, BROOKLYN — The Uni Project is returning to Kensington this Sunday, bringing its outdoor interactive learning and arts activities to Avenue C Plaza.

The non-profit organization says its multi-disciplinary activities help participants "embrace the act of learning."

At Uni events, custom-designed book carts are accompanied by public places for reading, while volunteer artists refine their drawing skills with community members. Guests can also can try their hand at problem solving and spacial reasoning puzzles.

The event will take place on Oct. 30 from noon to 4 p.m. Avenue C Plaza is located at the intersection of McDonald Avenue and Avenue C. Rain is in the forecast for Sunday, but it isn't expected until late in the day, while the high temperature will get to about 66 degrees.
