Reminder: F/G Not Running This Weekend

We hope you didn't have any exciting plans in the city this weekend, because you might have a tough time getting there.

It's with some sadness we remind you that for the next two days, there will be no F train service between Jay St-MetroTech and 18 Ave., and no G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Ave.

The trains will cease operating at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, meaning if you're headed for a big night out, plan on either taking a car home, or enjoy a nice, late-night wait for the shuttle bus. Service will resume at 5 a.m. on Monday.

If there's a silver lining, though, it's this: , southbound F and G trains will once again stop at the 15th St.-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway stations starting Monday morning.
