Worried about life after Key Food? Come on down to Holy Name of Jesus Church tonight.

With , many Windsor Terrace residents are worried that their neighborhood is on the precipice of becoming a food desert.
Air those concerns tonight at a community meeting co-sponsored by Assemblyman Jim Brennan, D-Brooklyn, Councilman Brad Lander, D-Park Slope, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Community Board 7 and the Windsor Terrace Alliance.
A Walgreens representative is also expected to be on hand to address community concerns.

told us that when she tried to stop by Key Food around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, the store—which is slated to shutter for good on June 30—was already closed for the day, with signs posted to the front door indicating that service was already starting to wind down.

According to the signs, the store stopped accepting personal checks on May 29, ceased home delivery on June 10 and will no longer accept bottles on June 15.
The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, located at 245 Prospect Park West.
