The Early Word: Prospect Park's Carousel Turns 100 This Weekend

1. State Sen. Eric Adams, D-Brooklyn, is sponsoring a job fair on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at P.S. 375 in Flatbush. More than 40 employers will be represented at the fair, which is being held in partnership with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. P.S. 375 is located at 46 McKeever Pl.
2. Prospect Park's carousel is turning 100-years-old this Sunday. To celebrate, the carousel will be free from 12 to 5 p.m., and crafts and games will keep the kids entertained between rides. Oh, and one more thing: Free cake.
