
1. Raptor Fest is coming to Prospect Park on Sept. 30. The word "raptor" tends to conjure images of these guys, but it turns out that birds of prey—think owls and hawks—qualify, too. The event will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Audubon Center. More information is available here.
2. Walgreens is apparently making moves to construct an addition to the existing Key Food space, in order to house a grocery store that satisfies resident's demands for a full-service grocery store, the New York Daily News reports.
3. Windsor Terrace artist Erica Harris is showing her latest creations—including sewn collages from India and stuffed toys—at b. conte in Williamsburg, located at 167 North 9th St. The exhibit will benefit an upcoming arts exchange project and teaching residency with La Isla Foundation in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua, so be sure to check it out.
