The Early Word: No Late Night F Trains

What you need to know, pre-coffee.

2. The F train—along with the B,D and M—will cease running at 10 p.m. in both directions from Monday through Friday of this week. During this time, F trains will operate via the E line between Roosevelt Avenue and West 4th Street in both directions. Read the full story .

4. The Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council is looking for rising 10th or 11th grade students to join its ranks. Selected students will have their voices heard in the policy-making process at City Hall, as well as the opportunity to significantly develop their own leadership skills. Students must be nominated, as well as apply, by May 18. More information is available here. 

5. Alternate side parking is in effect today, but will be suspended on Thursday in observance of Solemnity of the Ascension.
