The Early Word: Volunteer for "Green-woodstock"

1. Friends of Greenwood Playground is looking for volunteers to gather raffle prizes for the upcoming "Green-woodstock," a day of music, food and fun in Greenwood Playground. The event is coming up quick (May 6!), so email greenwoodfriendsfunds@gmail.com if you're interested in helping out.

3. will be hosting a mini-brewery night on Friday at 7 p.m., in which sippers can try a taste of four beers all the way from Orange County's The Bruery. 

4. While we're on the topic of tasting: The 2nd Annual Tasting Brooklyn will be held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Dumbo Loft. With more than 20 of the borough's finest restaurants included in the lineup, it's the perfect event for the culinarily indecisive. 

5. Alternate side parking rules will be suspended Thursday through Saturday for Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Passover.
