Week in Review: April 23 - 29

Happy Sunday, everybody. We hope you had a restful weekend, and are ready to take on a new week with fresh aplomb.

Monday:

On Monday, organizers of the Great GoogaMooga announced the festival's musical lineup, delighting hipsters old and young with the news that legendary soft rockers Hall & Oates will be headlining festivities on Sunday.

Tuesday:

Supporters of Golden Farm's famously underpaid workers rallied outside the store at various points over the week, protesting owner Sonny Kim's alleged failure to provide his employees years of back-wages. Check out some photos from .

Wednesday:

After six months of searching, animal rescue aficionado Sean Casey and his team roaming the Midwood area. The pits—particularly the one Casey caught—have a history of attacking small neighborhood dogs, so her capture should come as a great relief to local pet owners.

Thursday:

Know a high school or college student in need of a summer job? The city is hiring lifeguards between the ages of 14 and 24 to man its many pools and beaches. .  

Friday:

The space shuttle Enterprise soared over the Hudson River on Friday morning, swooping over the city multiple times before making its final descent into JFK. The shuttle will spend the next few weeks being de-mated from the 747 that carried it from D.C., and will be on exhibit at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum by July.
