"I’m not prepared to say 'No, under no circumstances will I run for Brooklyn Borough President,' he told Patch on Tuesday. "But I’m also sure not prepared to say I’m planning to do it, or I’m seriously considering it or looking at it."Â

Sad news for lovers of locally-brewed suds:Â A pair of tax exemptions for local craft breweries , meaning the cost of brewing beer in the area will increase by thousands of dollars each year. No need to panic, though: Chris Genoa, the general manager of the Double Windsor, said that unless costs really skyrocket, prices for a pint at his pub will remain the same. Â

After nearly four years in business, served up its final cup of coffee on Friday. Restaurant staff cite a decrease in customers as the reason behind the shop's shuttering, but nearby residents fearing an impending food desert need not worry: A new restaurant will purportedly be taking over the space in the coming months.Â
