Happy Father's Day, everyone. Here's our weekly recap of what went down over the past few days:

Monday:

On Monday, Councilman Brad Lander, D-Park Slope, announced plans to introduce  the , which would establish an Inspector General position to oversee the goings on of the city's police department.

Tuesday:

. Windsor Terrace resident Laurie Trombley watched in horror as the dog, who appears to have no owners, was hit by a car last week and nearly killed. Chico managed pulled through, but did suffer a broken pelvis. Adding insult to injury, he still needs a good home. Can you help him?

Wednesday:

Occupy Kensington will rally for the second time on Monday, June 18, this time with
