A concise look at the past week.

This week was marked by gorgeous weather, which made getting through it either much easier or much more difficult depending on how much of it you spent outside.

Monday

Sunday was Brooklyn's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, which began and ended in Windsor Terrace. (Specifically, most revelers appeared to head straight for .) We got photos from the event, which you can take a look at .

Tuesday

Brooklynites are going to have to wait longer than expected for Prospect Park's Lakeside project to be completed, . The $74 million project, which will eventually bring two ice skating rinks, a cafe and an education center, was originally slated to open January 2013, but as of now its completion date has been pushed back to fall.  

Wednesday

Golden Farm workers and the community members who support them are planning a one-day boycott of the store for April 21. The boycott will be paired with a "Week of Action" to raise awareness of the plight of the workers, who are currently taking legal action against the Kensington grocery store's owner, Sonny Kim, for allegedly paying them less than $5 per hour for 72 hours of work per week. .

Thursday

What could have been a standard PTA meeting was made into a full-fledged "Get Up and Move" night, in which families of P.S. 130 students tested various forms of exercise courtesy of local organizations , DKD Sport Karate, and Kings Bay Y at Windsor Terrace. PTA members were kind enough to snap some photos, and we've got them for you .

Friday

Councilman Brad Lander, D-Park Slope, has joined advocacy group Transportation Alternatives in when it comes to investigating fatal traffic crashes, as well as those that result in serious injuries. The push comes off the heels of the death of Mathieu Lefevre, who was killed in October by a truck while he was riding his bike in Williamsburg.
