Weekend Weather: Mostly Sunny, But Not Hot

Yes, it's summer, but this being New York, there's no telling what the wily weather will do over the weekend.

Poor weather is nearly guaranteed in the winter months, but we'd hate for you to make extensive beach plans, only to see them canceled by an unexpected thunderstorm.

So each week this summer, Patch will keep you abreast of the weather with information from the National Weather Service.

Friday: Friday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 78 degrees. North wind will blow around 8 miles per hour. The area will see some clouds in the evening, with a low around 61 degrees, and southeast wind will be between 7 and 10 miles per hour.

Saturday: Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 77 degrees. North wind around will be around 8 miles per hour, becoming east. The evening will be partly cloudy, with a low around 59 degrees, with east wind between 3 and 7 miles per hour.

Sunday: The weather on Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 74 degrees. East wind will be between 5 and 9 miles per hour. The evening will be partly cloudy, with a low around 60 degrees.
