KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — What capital projects do you think should be done in Kensington, Ditmas Park and Flatbush?

You have your chance to make your voice heard, as Community Board 14 is soliciting feedback on that issue.

The board, which covers parts of all three neighborhoods (full district map here), sent around a budget recommendation form asking for ideas for capital projects during fiscal year 2019.

"Each year, in accordance with the New York City Charter, all 59 Community Boards are required to submit recommendations for NYC’s capital and expense budgets for the following fiscal year," the form says.

"If you have any suggestions you would like to see funded in the district, please complete the information below. Only in cases where the request is for a new service or capital project (generally capital items have a value of $35,000 or more and a 'useful life' of at least 5 years), should the request go through the budget process."
