HUDSON VALLEY, NY — 'Tis the season for giving back to your community. There are a number of ways that you and your family can help others through the holidays.

Volunteer New York! makes it easy to find ways to help — through donations, supporting nonprofits and even volunteering from home.

Today’s opportunity is Deliver Wellness Meals to Homes in Westchester County for Meals on Wheels Rockland. Volunteers are needed to pick up boxes of frozen meals from the Meals on Wheels van at the parking lot of Volunteer New York! and deliver them to the homes of individuals living with cancer. Recipients live throughout Westchester and Meals on Whiles will do its best to assign routes that are close to volunteers’ homes. To express interest, or for more information, go here.
