Police say he was driving while intoxicated with an unrestrained child (under the age 15) in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.
Paquisarango was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing. A relative was contacted, who then took custody of the child.
While at Yorktown Police Department headquarters, Paquisarango was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
After processing, he was arraigned and a Temporary Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the child. Paquisarango was released on his own recognizance to a responsible adult, and is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday.
