Election 2024: Westchester County Voter Guide

Everything you need to know about early voting, mail-in voting and in-person voting in Westchester County for the election.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Voters in Westchester County will head to the polls by Tuesday, Nov. 5, for the 2024 general election.

You can find your exact polling place and see what your ballot will look like by typing in your address on the official Westchester County Board of Elections website here.

In addition to the presidential and congressional races, there are several key races at the state and local level.

Oct. 26 is the last day to register to vote. Registration can be done online, in person, or by mail.

Mail-In Voting

Absentee ballot applications must be received by the Westchester County Board of Elections no later than Oct. 26. The last day to request a mail-in ballot in person at the Westchester Board of Elections is Nov. 4.

The ballot itself must either be personally delivered to the board of elections no later than the close of polls on Election Day, or postmarked by a governmental postal service not later than the day of the election. Mailed ballots must be received by the board of elections by Nov. 12.

All completed absentee ballots can be dropped off at any of these locations:

  • any early voting poll site.
  • any Nov. 5 Election Day poll site.
  • BOE office at 25 Quarropas St., White Plains, NY 10601.

Early Voting

Early voting starts on Oct. 26 and runs until Nov. 3.

  • Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 28, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024 from noon until 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024 from noon until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 1, 2024 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

You can vote at any of the designated early voting sites throughout Westchester County.

Voting on Election Day

Polls in New York are open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election Day. Find your polling place using the Westchester Board of Elections search function or the New York State Board of Elections poll site search.
