Individualized Education Program Presentation at YHS

Yorktown SEPTA will host a presentation entitled "The ABC's of IEPs"(Individualized Education Program) at Yorktown High School on Jan. 12. It starts at 7:30 p.m. in the LGI room (a change of venue, originally the YHS library).

Chrisanne Petrone, Outreach Coordinator of the Hudson Valley Special Education Parent Center, will provide parents with details about the special education and IEP development processes. She will highlight the NYS Education Department's IEP format, explain what an IEP is, how it is compiled, and the role of parents in the process. Come learn what you should know about your child's IEP!
