North Salem Teen Wrapped Metal Chain Around Fist, Struck Victim In Forehead: Yorktown Police
The 18-year-old was arrested and released on his own recognizance, with a court date on Tuesday, according to authorities.
YORKTOWN, NY — An açt of violence has led to felony charges against a Westchester County teenager.
The Yorktown Police Department says that a North Salem teenager was arrested and charged with felony second-degree assault.
Police say that on Dec. 16, around 2:22 p.m., officers responded to a Fox Meadow Road address, in Yorktown, after receiving a report of an assault.

After speaking to the victim during the investigation, police say 18-year-old Jayden Holloway wrapped a metal chain around his fist, and then struck the victim in his forehead with a closed fist, intentionally causing physical injury.
Holloway was then arrested, processed, and brought to the Yorktown Justice Court where he was arraigned before a judge, who issued a temporary Order of Protection on behalf of the victim.

Holloway was released on his own recognizance, and is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday.
