The Hills Are Alive With 'The Sound Of Music' In Yorktown
High drama punctuated with "Do-Re-Mi," "The Sound of Music," "Lonely Goatherd," and "Edelweiss" will open Saturday on the Yorktown Stage.

YORKTOWN, NY — Your favorite musical is probably streaming right now, but the experience of seeing "The Sound of Music" live on stage can't be beat.
Yorktown Stage will be opening its new production of the beloved musical this Saturday.
The famous musical "tells the inspiring tale of Maria, a spirited young woman who brings joy, music, and love into the lives of Captain Von Trapp and his seven children in pre-World War II Austria."

Yorktown Stage says that the professionally produced Broadway musical features a talented cast who will deliver unforgettable performances of iconic songs such as "Do-Re-Mi," "The Sound of Music," "Lonely Goatherd," and "Edelweiss."
The venue says it prides itself on delivering high-quality, professional theatrical productions, and that the professional cast will ensure "an exceptional and memorable experience for all attendees."

Performances will take place as follows:
- Saturday Matinees: March 1 & 8, at 1 p.m. & 5 p.m.
- Sunday Matinees: March 2 & 9 at 1 p.m.
- Friday Evening: March 7 at 7 p.m.
