Lakeland District Posts School Supplies Lists For 2023-24

SHRUB OAK, NY — With the first day of school in the Lakeland school district rapidly approaching, it is time to think about school supplies.

Lakeland’s first day of classes is Wednesday, Sept. 6, and school officials have posted lists of supplies that students will need.

For example, kindergarten students at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School need to bring crayons, three folders, “over the head” style headphones and gallon-size zip-top bags, among other things.

Among the items high schoolers will need are 3x5 index cards, three-ring binders with dividers and spiral notebooks.
