This project, which highlights the achievements of women leaders within the district, was a visionary initiative from Dr. Karen Gagliardi, the district’s first female superintendent. Dr. Gagliardi's idea to spotlight these leaders not only celebrates diversity but also underscores Lakeland’s commitment to inclusivity. Reflecting on the honor, Dr. Gagliardi says, "Thank you for your continued support as we strive to highlight and celebrate the diversity and inclusivity that make our district exceptional."
