Missing Dog, Share Summer Vacations Photos, Get Out Your Rain Coats

1. Missing Dog in Somers

Pepe, Robin Roth Bambach's family dog, has been missing since about 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. Bambach writes on Facebook: "Pepe is a Papillion with long white and brown fur and a wispy tail and ears. He weighs about 9 pounds. Pepe is almost 16 years old and is hard of hearing and can be tempermental if you try to pet him or pick him up. He will not hurt you!!!! Pepe is fully vaccinated and has his rabies shot. Please share this with as many people as you can!" Click here to see his picture as posted by Bambach.

4. Primary Election is Sept. 13

The Primary Election, which is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 13 is only for voters enrolled in the Republican, Conservative and Green Parties. The polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. Yorktown voters will go to their normal polling locations with a few exceptions. Click here for more details as posted on Yorktown's town website.

According to the National Weather Service, forecasters are predicting showers and a thunderstorm. It is expected to be cloudy, with temperatures in the high near 81.
