Police: Murphy's Cited for 'Excessive Noise' at Restaurant

The manager of  in Yorktown has been cited for allowing "unreasonable and excessive noise," at the popular restaurant and bar, police said.

Police responded to the restaurant on Kear Street on Friday, Aug. 24 at about 12:30 a.m. after a resident complained about a continuing loud noise at the restaurant. 

The 30-year-old manager, who is a Yorktown resident, was cited with unreasonable noise, a Yorktown town code violation, police said. He was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 27.
