Read All About It: John C. Hart Library 4-Day Annual Book Sale Is Here

Proceeds from the sale of gently used media will directly support the library's programming and help grow its collection.

SHRUB OAK, NY — The perfect time of year to cozy up by the fireplace with a good book is fast approaching and the perfect time to stock up on fall and winter books has already arrived.

The Friends of the John C. Hart Memorial Library announced that they will be holding their annual, four-day book sale starting Friday.

The sale will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday.

Organizers say that there will be a wide selection of gently used books, DVDs, and more.

In addition to the book sale, attendees will be able to enjoy a bake sale on Saturday, featuring homemade treats. A 50/50 raffle and a chance to win a handmade quilt will also be available throughout the weekend.
