School Delays Become Closures As Wintry Blast Hits The Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Winter won't officially arrive for a few more days, but a blast of wintry weather with snow and ice is making travel tricky across much of the Hudson Valley.

As a result, many Hudson Valley schools decided to delay the start of classes, with some closures as well. This list will be updated throughout the morning as delays grow, and in some cases become full closures.

• Arlington CSD: 2-hour delay
• Beacon CSD: 2-hour delay
• Bedford CSD: updated to 3-hour delay
• Brewster CSD: 3-hour delay
• Briarcliff Manor UFSD: 2- hour delay
• Byram Hills CSD: 2-hour delay
