Stop and Shop, Stew Leonard's: HV Grocery Stores Open On Easter
Many of the supermarkets in the Hudson Valley will be open on Easter, but they might be closing earlier than normal.

HIUDSON VALLEY, NY — As with every special holiday meal, for Easter Sunday, there will likely be something you forgot to buy ahead of time. Or a last-minute guest or two means you don’t quite have enough for everyone.
For the early Easter holiday on March 31, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem getting a missing ingredient or three.
According to the coupon company RetailMeNot and some local sleuthing, here’s a list of stores you can expect to be open on Easter in the Hudson Valley.

As always, before you start traveling to your favorite grocery store, it would be a good idea to call them to make sure their plans to be open haven’t changed.
Stores Open Easter Sunday
- 7-Eleven: Open on Sunday.
- BJ’s Wholesale Club: Most BJ’s clubs will be open on Easter Sunday. Hours may vary by location.
- Hannaford: Open until 3 p.m. Sunday.
- Price Chopper: Open until 3 p.m. Sunday.
- Rite Aid: The majority of Rite Aid store locations will be open with varying hours of operation, so call ahead.
- ShopRite: Most stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
- Stew Leonard’s: Stores will be open until 7 p.m. Sunday.
- Stop and Shop: Stores will be open until 5 p.m. Sunday.
- Trader Joe’s: Open regular hours on Easter Sunday.
- Walgreens: Walgreens will be open regular store hours on Easter.
- Walmart: Open for its regular hours on Easter.
- Wegmans: Wegmans will be open with traditional store hours on Easter Sunday.
- Whole Foods: Whole Foods Market stores will be open on Easter, but hours may be limited and vary by location.
