Stop & Shop, Stew Leonard's: NY Grocery Stores Open Easter 2022
Some of the supermarkets may have reduced their hours, so it would be best to call to confirm.
NEW YORK — While last-minute grocery shopping on Easter Sunday in New York can be sometimes problematic, a survey of supermarkets and stores that also sell food stuffs shows there won't be too much of a hassle if you've forgotten to buy enough eggs to dye for your celebration or you didn't pick up a big enough ham.
In years past, some of the stores, such as Trader Joe's, closed their doors on Easter Sunday — not so this year. Likewise, BJ's Wholesale Club will also be open this year on Sunday, but with slightly reduced hours.
As always with lists such as these, it would be a good idea to call before you make the trip in case there are any last-minute changes.
