Trees Downed, Roads Closed After Powerful Storm Cell Moves Through

Yorktown public safety officials are asking drivers to avoid affected roads as crews are out attempting to clear roadways and restore power.

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown police are warning about multiple trees down, power outages and road closures as a result of this morning's brief, but powerful severe weather.

Officials are warning the public to treat all wires that are down as live wires. Police have confirmed multiple reports of power outages.
