Video: Hornets Beat Huskies for Class A Championship Title

The Lakeland baseball team faced off Harrison High School for a Section 1, Class A championship title at Dutchess Stadium Thursday afternoon. The Lakeland Hornets defeated the Huskies 4-1 and took home the title. 

Jonathan de Marte (10-1), earned the MVP award, as his coaches, brothers Dennis and Mike Robinson, earned their 600^th career victory together.

The Harrison baseball team's season ended with a loss, which marks the end of what has been a captivating run for the Huskies who were seeded in the bottom half of the tournament and advanced all the way to the Section 1 championship game.

Lakeland will play the champion of Section 4 next week in the New York State tournament.
