Yorktown Employee Struck, Killed By Vehicle While Working
The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
YORKTOWN, NY — An employee of the town of Yorktown was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while working.
The Yorktown Police Department said the incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday in the area of 477 London Rd.
The town employee was working in that location when he was hit.

He was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The investigation into the incident is being conducted by the Town of Yorktown Police Department Accident Investigation Unit, with the assistance of members of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Accident Investigation Unit.
