Yorktown Invites Pooches To End-Of-Summer Pool Party
Humans will not be allowed in the pool, but dogs — large and small — will.
YORKTOWN, NY — A sure sign that summer is on its way out is when communities announce pool parties for pooches.
The town of Yorktown is inviting canines and their humans to come to Junior Lake Pool from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27.
The dogs will be allowed in the pool — the main pool and, for small dogs, the wading pool — for a refreshing swim before the facility is drained for the season.
