Yorktown Lions Celebrate the Holidays with an Array of Activities
Come See Santa, Receive Personalized Santa Letters, and be Visited by Elf on the Shelf

Yorktown Lions Host “Santa Events,” “Elf -Gram Visits” and “Letters from Santa”
On Sunday, Dec. 8, from 11 to 4, your family can enjoy making its own pizza and visiting Santa at “Pizza with Santa” at the Yorktown Pizza and Pasta. Also, you can celebrate “Cocoa with Santa” on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Grace Lutheran Church (3830 Gomer St.) from 9:15 (“Sensitive Santa” session) to 2:45. All money raised will be donated to the Yorktown Lions’ Club, which returns all proceeds to the community. Reserve your time slot(s) go to: www.yorktownlionsclub.com.

How would you like to send an “Elf Gram” to a friend, co-worker, or business delivered by a “real” Elf? Well, you can now between today and December 23.
The “Live Elf” will be delivering personalized “ELF Grams.” The elf can be invited to bring an “elf-gram” to a friend, family member, co-worker, or favorite business location. Be sure to notify management that a “Live Elf” is coming! The Elf’s visit requires a minimum donation of $25. Also, the Yorktown Lions are inviting parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, God parents, and friends to have the Lions send a personalized “Letter to Santa” to that special someone. Put a smile on the faces of some youngsters when they receive personalized letters from Santa Claus. The cost is $8 per letter or $15 for two distinct letters. The deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 17.
