Diana Declares Victory In Yorktown Supervisor Race
Republicans were likely elected to serve on the town council, according to unofficial results.

YORKTOWN, NY — Registered voters in the town of Yorktown had a few decisions to make Tuesday at the ballot box.
In the race for supervisor incumbent Republican Thomas Diana declared victory over challenger Jann Mirchandani, a Democrat.
According to unofficial results, around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday, Diana received 55 percent of the vote with Mirchandani receiving 45 percent. There were 76 percent of districts reporting.

Diana is a retired Westchester County Police officer and small business owner who was first elected to the town board in 2015. He was appointed supervisor in January to serve the remainder of an unexpired term.
Mirchandani, 55, of Yorktown, who has managed her own marketing and communications business for 25 years, ran for supervisor because Yorktown faces significant challenges that need leadership who is up to the task.
