YORKTOWN-SOMERS, NY — The first day of school is September 4 in Yorktown and Lakeland and September 5 in Somers — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP. The Yorktown, Somers and Lakeland school districts have released their 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.
