Yorktown's 98th Annual Grange Fair Begins

There will be a tractor parade Saturday, and police want the public to know what roads will be closed.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Grange's annual Tractor Club Parade will take place at noon Saturday.

The Yorktown Police Department wants the public to know what roads will be closed before, during and after the event.

According to the website for the 98th Annual Grange Fair, which takes place Friday through Sunday, there will be local exhibitors with homemade baked goods, needlework and artwork, as well as livestock and a midway filled with games, rides and food.

The parade will begin at noon Saturday at the Yorktown Heights Fire Department fairgrounds on Veterans Road. It will continue to Commerce Street and to Hanover Street and will conclude at the Grange Fairgounds on Moseman Road.

To provide for the safety of parade participants and spectators, the following roadways will be closed from around 11:50 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade, which is estimated to be about one hour.

  2. Commerce Street at Veterans Road
  3. Commerce Street at Yorktown Heights Fire Department
  4. Underhill Avenue at Hanover Street
  5. Harwood Place at Hanover Street
  6. Church Place at Hanover Street
  7. Richard Place at Hanover Street
  8. Hanover Street at Moseman Road
  9. Maxwell Court at Moseman Road
  10. Moseman Road at the Grange Fairgrounds
