NORTH CAROLINA — President Donald Trump is returning to North Carolina Tuesday to hold a campaign rally in Winston-Salem. The trip marks the second time in less than a week that Trump has visited the state considered a pivotal battleground state in the upcoming election.

During the campaign stop, Trump intends to highlight his environmental agenda, WNCN reported.

Last week, the president visited Wilmington to mark its designation as the first American World War II heritage city. During that visit, he drew criticism for urging his supporters to vote twice in the upcoming election. He also took aim at the recent movement to remove statues of Confederate leaders across various states.
