  1. A South Carolina woman went missing early Wednesday morning on her way to Asheville. According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Molly Anne McKenzie was going to a relative's house in Asheville but never arrived. She was driving a red 2011 Ford Escape and was last seen leaving Charing Cross Road in Taylors. (FOX 8)
  2. Just after midnight on Wednesday, the Asheville Police Department responded to a shooting at an Asheville apartment complex. According to Police, a male victim was shot multiple times before he was found at the scene. They gave him medical attention before transferring him to a hospital in critical condition. (Shore News Network)
  3. On Thursday morning, a Henderson County woman was arrested concerning the death of an 82-year-old woman. According to the Henderson County Sheriff's Office, they were called regarding a death investigation, but when they arrived, they became suspicious. Deputies quickly identified the suspect and charged her with felony murder and felony larceny of a motor vehicle. (WYFF)

  • The Asheville Fire Department recently installed a hot car display to remind people how hot the inside of a closed vehicle can get. They encourage everybody to take the time to ensure all children and animals are out of the car before leaving. (Asheville Fire Department via Facebook)
  • A man with a knife attacked a killed a sweet dog named Beignet last week in Weaver Park. The Asheville Police Department quickly made the arrest and sends their condolences to the family. (Asheville Police Department via Facebook)
