Cornelius Jazz Festival Heading To Smithville Park: Details

CORNELIUS, NC — Area residents will have an opportunity to enjoy live music under the stars. The Cornelius Jazz Festival will take place at Smithville Park on Saturday, May 22.

"It's sure to be a great evening filled with jazz, food trucks and tasty beverages," the Town of Cornelius Department of Parks, Arts, Recreation & Culture (PARC) said.

Musicians scheduled to appear include Dante Lewis and the Eli Yacinthe Band.

Food and beverage trucks will include:

• A Worthy Dog
• A Pinch of Soul
• Muchachos Tacos LKN
• JJ Lange's Beatz & Eatz
• S&K Funnel Cakes
• Ice Cream Cereal Box NC
• Eleven Lake Brewing

The event is sponsored by PARC and the Smithville CommUNITY Coalition. It is set to kick off at 5 p.m., and attendees are required to preregister for the event, as well as wear masks and practice social distancing, organizers said.
