• Plane Carrying Greg Biffle, His Family and 3 Others Is Engulfed in Flames in Harrowing New Video (people.com) — A tragic plane crash in Statesville has claimed the life of Jack Dutton, a 2024 Hough High School graduate from Cornelius, along with NASCAR champion Greg Biffle and five others. Dutton, now an aviation student at Auburn University, was among those killed when the Cessna business jet crashed and burst into flames while attempting to land in poor weather conditions.
