CORNELIUS, NC — There are heaps of fun activities and events planned around Lake Norman this month, including outdoor drive-in concerts, a jazz music festival, and even a guarantee to catch a glimpse of trolls in a Cornelius park.

Friday, May 7

• First Friday's with DJ Festivus — Primal Brewery, 16432 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

• Bib Trice, Live Under the Oaks — Birkdale Village, 8712 Lindholm Drive, Huntersville. 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., $25 per social distance ring, max 4 guests per ring.

• Strolling with Shakespeare — Davidson Community Players. Say organizers, "With DCP as your guide, guests will stroll to five different downtown Davidson locations where popular scenes from Shakespeare’s works will be performed by our wonderful actors." May 6-9. Tickets are free, but must be reserved.

Saturday, May 8
