The Emily Program Invites North Carolina Families to Free Support Sessions
Caring for someone with an eating disorder impacts the entire family. To support parents, partners, siblings, and friends in this role, The Emily Program in North Carolina offers Friends and Family Sessions free, virtual events held twice a month.
The sessions create space for loved ones to share experiences, ask questions, and gain tools for supporting recovery. Participants also connect with others who are walking a similar path, easing the isolation that families often feel.

“Eating disorders affect entire families, not just individuals,” said Becka Eckstein, Senior Regional Director of The Emily Program in the Southeast. “These sessions are our way of standing with families, giving them the confidence and knowledge they need to be part of recovery.”
Friends and Family Sessions are offered virtually on the first and third Thursday of each month from 9–10 p.m. ET.
