The Emily Program, a national leader in eating disorder specialty care and behavioral health services, welcomes Beau Tompkins as Executive Director of the Adult Residential and Inpatient Program in Durham, North Carolina. Beau will fully support this program pulling from his decades of expertise as a healthcare leader.

As Executive Director of the Emily Program, Beau is responsible for day-to-day operations, including direct supervision of site-level leadership. He will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintain accreditation standards, and uphold the delivery of high quality, evidence-based treatment. Beau will also make sure that clinical programs remain inclusive and responsive to the needs of diverse populations, including the LGBTQ+ community and individuals with co-occurring conditions, such as diabetes, neurodivergence, and other complex medical or mental health diagnoses.

In his esteemed career, Beau has successfully led operations for multiple companies in the biomedical and blood donation sector. His comprehensive operations experience encompasses skills in client and staff experience, recruitment, outreach, and marketing, which he will put into play at The Emily Program.
