44th Medical Brigade Changes Out Senior Leadership

"Time, tears, injuries, wounds and lives are the price of freedom," said MG Rodney Anderson in his opening remarks.

Following the Formation of Troops at the 44th Medical Brigade's Relinquish of Command and Change of Responsibility was the traditional Presentation of Colors and invocation.

Opening remarks were made by MG Rodney Anderson commending the families of the 44th Medical Brigade for their support.

"We enjoy many freedoms as Americans, yet freedom is not free, there is a price that continues to be paid by generations of Americans that give all they have to secure our freedoms," said Anderson. "The price of freedom is paid by those who serve in uniform. Today's soldiers and their families pay the price of freedom with their time as well."
