Charlie Sheen Pledges to Donate $1 Million to USO

The bad boy actor lands on top with 'Anger Management.'

Charlie Sheen deservedly gets a bad wrap, but this time this tv veteran is up to some good for wounded veterans.

Sheen's sitcom "Anger Management" that debuted in June on FX has struck it rich, and now the wounded military warriors will reap the benefits. The actor commited to donate 1% of his profits from the show to USO's Operation Enduring Care campaign.

Next week Sheen plans to donate the first $250,000 installment to the USO which will be used to build an entertainment facility in Bethesda, Md. His total pledge of $1 million is thought to be the largest single donation ever to the USO.

"It's an honor for me to be able to give back to these men and women of the military who have done so much for all of us," Sheen said in a statement according to CBS.com. "They put their lives on the line for us every day, and I'm just happy that my work on 'Anger Management' can bring a little bit of relief to the troops and their families."
