Fort Bragg's USO Relocates to the Soldier Support Center

Fort Bragg's USO Center has moved from the 1st Theater Sustainment Command area to the in order to better
serve more military personnel and family members.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 7, at 11 a.m. on the first floor of the Soldier Support Center in Wing L.   A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. "With 5,000 visits a day by Soldiers and families, the Soldier Support Center was the most logical place for us to relocate," said Renee Lane, director of the Fort Bragg USO Center.

Lane said their new location is family-friendly and
Soldier-friendly. She said it offers quiet surroundings, comfortable seating,
television, and computers. The Fort Bragg USO Center also provides free fax
service.

In the future, Lane said they plan to have more computers available plus the
ability to print documents.  In a week or so, the Fort Bragg USO Center will
also offer a new service called Operation Morale Call.

"Through a partnership with Cisco, Century Link and JP Morgan Chase, we have
the technology to provide video teleconferencing service (Operation Morale
Call) over a private network for families and friends of servicemembers who
are deployed in Afghanistan at Kandahar Airfield and Camp Leatherneck," said
Lane.

The new Fort Bragg USO Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30
