Give an Hour Announces Report from Community Blueprint Network Grants
Eight Grants, Funded by the Walmart Foundation, Provide Vital Services to Military Families in Fayetteville
Give an Hour, a national nonprofit organization providing free mental health services to veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan and their loved ones, unveiled the impact of eight $7,500 grants issued to organizations serving the Fayetteville, NC community.
Grant recipients were:Â Fayetteville Cares, United Way of Cumberland County, Fayetteville State University School of Social Work, Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville Technical Community College, Cumberland County Partnership for Children, Support Military Spouses, and USO of North Carolina.
Give an Hour was the recipient of a $144,000 grant from the Walmart             Foundation, and selected recipients for the funding based on a competitive RPF. Fayetteville is one of two demonstration projects administered by Give an Hour for the Community Blueprint Network, a collaborative effor to help communities address the needs of veterans and military families on a local level.
