Parking and Traffic Plan for Fort Bragg Independence Day Celebration
Make your transportation plans ahead of the crowds.

Fort Bragg will host its annual Independence Day celebration Wednesday, July 4, and is planning for a spirited, festive and safe event.
Primary parking for the public will include any open parking areas east of
Knox Street that are not posted as closed. Handicap parking is reserved next
to the Main Post Chapel on Sedgwick Street.
Restricted areas include posted areas reserved for VIPs or distinguished
guests. The Polo Field - bordered by Knox, Scott, Randolph and Hamilton
Streets - is off limits to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic due to fireworks safety concerns.
Prohibited items on the Main Post Parade Field include glass bottles, knives
or weapons, personal fireworks, fuels or accelerants, pets, drugs or any
extremist organization emblems. Tents and shelters are allowed in designated
areas only.
Personnel exiting the event after 9 p.m., are required to follow all
directions by our Traffic Control Points in order to expedite traffic flow.
All traffic exiting the hospital from the Southeast is required to travel
south on Reilly Road. All traffic exiting the hospital to the north is
required to travel west on Longstreet Road. All traffic exiting from the
vicinity of the MPPF is required to travel north on Reilly Road or south on
Knox Street.
