Team Red, White & Blue Races Across America: World's Toughest Bicycle Race
Racing for life, because some have already endured life's test on the battlefield.
On Saturday, June 16, Team Captains Jim Gourley, Major Dan Gade, Caroline Gaynor, Chris Swales, and Chris Suter have been training hard and will be leading the cross country trek in Team RWB’s second year of participation in the event. The team began the Race Across America at 3pm representing Team Red, White & Blue.Â
Team Red, White & Blue has a vision to transform the way America supports its wounded veterans when they exit their position. They will cycle 3,000 miles from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD in the relay. You can follow their progress at raamrace.org. They are team rwb 4 man team A.

RAAM has a rich and storied history. In 1982 four individuals raced from the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles to the Empire State Building in New York City. Covered by national television, the race captivated the public’s imagination. Teams were added in 1992 and quickly became the most popular and fastest growing segment of the race. Relay team racing made the event accessible to any reasonably fit cyclist. The 2012 race will be the 31st edition of RAAM.
